Advocacy and Empowerment

The Orlando Food Truck Association supports local food truck businesses in two unique and important ways.

ORLFTA helps its vendors discover new business prospects through event catering and other revenue streams. Ben Goldberg, a former food truck owner, started the organization after seeing firsthand the challenges of relying solely on sporadic street sales, with the goal of helping vendors stay profitable and active year-round. By connecting members with catering opportunities, ORLFTA helps local food truck businesses grow and attract more customers.

ORLFTA dedicates significant time and resources to advocating for its members and the broader food truck industry at the local and state levels. The organization closely monitors proposed policies, rules, and regulations that could affect mobile food businesses. By staying informed on industry developments, ORLFTA uses its experience and expertise to represent its members and ensure the voices of local food truck operators are heard.
